How-To: Getting Started
This page explains how to connect to the realm, use Discord commands, and basic in-game commands. Replace the placeholder sections with your actual instructions.
You need a World of Warcraft 5.4.8 (Mists of Pandaria) client to connect.
Go to the Register page and create your account before launching the game.
In your WoW client folder, open Data/enUS/realmlist.wtf (the folder name may differ by locale, e.g. enGB) and replace its contents with one of the following depending on where you are:
- Same house / local network:
set realmlist 192.168.1.200 - Outside / internet:
set realmlist wow.thewowlounge.com
Note: requires Tailscale to be installed and connected.
Run Wow.exe, log in with your registered username and password, and select the The WoW Lounge realm. That's it — enjoy!
